P.S. Today's joke:
~ The interviewer examined the job application, then turned to the prospective employee.
"I see you have put ASAP down for the date you are available to start. However, I see you've written down AMAP for required salary. I don't believe I'm aware of what that means."

The applicant replied: "As Much As Possible!"

Pawsome project :o)

Hellooooo my dear friends :o)

Meee and my little Sis Aida are working on a very important mission lately...

Photobucket
Neeko! Stop it! Customers are coming...

We are selling coupon booklets for the Community Days that will take place on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th at participating stores throughout the country.
What are Community Days?
~ Community Day is a unique opportunity for 501c3 organizations such as ours, to raise money and increase their visibility in the community. It is a fun, rewarding event for all involved and at no cost to the participating organizations.

Princess Aida and Meee were soooo pumped because we got to be physically present in one of our local stores selling the coupon booklets on April 14th :o)

Meee wore a vest made by my very talented Mama Corrine  that says, Neeko YTNR Ambassador and Aida wore her princess dress also made by our Mama Corrine :o)

We got super pumped when my best friend Mr. Pip showed up with his Pawsome Humans to support our cause...

Pip, is it really you? You smell so good! What are you wearing?
and then, came The Kiss...
Let Meee tell you that is was over for Aida. She did nothing else after The Smooch but talk nonstop, Pip said this, Pip said that, Pip smelled so good, Pip is soooo Handsome, etc.
Please make her STOP already! Meee is getting sick here...
Luckily was towards the end of our event :o)

The store manager (a very nice Lady) fell in love with us and insisted that we do this again because she is pulling for YTNR to have enough coupon booklet sales so we can be in the store on the 2 Day Event Sale which will take place on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th.

Why is this important?
If we qualify to be in the top 25 organizations we will get to sell the coupon booklets on those two days in the store and on top of what we already sold, YTNR will get a percentage of the total store sales. Wow! Now, that could bring YTNR some very nice and very much needed money...
So we are going to do this again at the same store, on Wednesday, April 25th from 4pm to 6pm and hoping that we will have enough sales to qualify for the 2 Day Big Sale Event.

If you would like be part of our Pawsome project and help us increase our chance to hit our 100% goal, we would greatly appreciate if you could make a small donation to YTNR Please specify that is for Neeko & Aida's Pawsome project.
Thank you in advance soooo much for your generosity :o)
We will keep you posted with the outcome :o)

Love and Smooches,
Neeko and Aida ♥

Spring is coming...

Hello all :o)

Spring is sooner recognized by plants than by men.  ~ Chinese Proverb

Meee is so pumped about springtime arriving soon.
Cannot complain about having a harsh winter this year but still, cabin fever is inevitable in the cold winter months when everything around us is gray. So at my house everybody is ready for the pawsome greenery that springtime brings along.

Speaking of greenery, Meee has an interesting and educational story...
My Mommy posted awhile back on Yorkiespice, a picture of my Bro, Ray resting comfortable on the couch. In the background of that picture, one could see this healthy looking houseplant spreading its leaves on the back of the couch.
Well, a very observant Lady from the Yorkiespice list, who happens to be Miss Tink and Miss Buff’s Mommy, asked about that plant and if we were aware that it was toxic for furbabies. When my Mommy saw her comment, her first reaction was, No way! Needless to say that she dropped everything she was doing at that moment which just so happened to be getting our dinners ready, Argh! got on her computer and to her shock that beautiful houseplant named Golden Pothos was on the list of poisonous houseplants.
Immediately, she relocated all those plants up high and out of our reach even though, Meee and my siblings never paid attention to them before. She vacuumed the room thoroughly and an hour later that evening we finally got our dinners. Sigh...

We are all so thankful to Miss Tink and Miss Buff's Mommy for catching the danger living among us.
On that note, we should all be aware now with springtime just around the corner, of all the hazardous indoor and outdoor plants. Meee thought that the following link is very informative of such dangers: Poisonous Plants

Another important thing to keep in mind this time of the year, are the lawn chemicals many Humans do not think twice before applying. Our Pawrents use only the organic weed control and when we go for our walks, we always stay away from the lawns that have those flags saying that pesticides were applied.

Wishing you all a Blessed Spring and Meee would like to conclude with Robin Williams’ quote: ~ Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!”

Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:
~ Four high school boys afflicted with spring fever skipped morning classes. After lunch they reported to the teacher that they had a flat tire.
Much to their relief she smiled and said, "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper."
Still smiling, she waited for them to sit down.
Then she said: "First Question: Which tire was flat?" ~

On the wings of Love ♥

Happy Valentine's Day to all my Pawsome bloggie friends!

My little Sis Aida asked Meee to tell her the story of Valentine's Day but instead, Meee decided to tell her a happy story called, "On the wings of Love".
So, as she got comfortable on the sofa with a toy,
Meee started:
~ Once upon a time, there was a little Yorkie boy who found himself unwanted and abandoned. A very nice Lady came to his rescue and took him under her loving wing and nurtured him back into a healthy little boy. While he was being cared for by this wonderful Lady, he noticed that there were a lot of other furbabies that needed her attention and she was lovingly caring for them too.

One day, when the little Yorkie boy was all healed, the wonderful Lady told him that a furever family fell in Love with him and he will furever be theirs and they will Love him just as much as she Loves him.
So from one wing of Love, the little Yorkie boy landed on another wing of Love which indeed turned out to be his furever one just like the very nice Lady promised.
In his furever loving home the little Yorkie Boy went thru some adjusting period in the beginning but because his new Pawrents had plenty of Love, everything worked out at the end and now he lives happily ever after :o)  ~

Aida said: "Wow Neeko! You kept mentioning the word Love throughout your story, it sounds like a big thing. What is this thing called Love?"

"Love is patient; Love is kind and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing Love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and Love; but the greatest of them all is Love."

The magical thing about being Loved is that we can overcome anything that life "throws" our way. When we are showered with Love, we can return that Love into the lives of others making them feel important and special.
Love gives us that inner peace that is so important in our lives, the tranquility and the feeling that everything is going to be alright.

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." - Lao Tzu

After listening to my story, Aida said: "Neeko! I know now that I'm very much Loved" and Meee said, Yes you are my little Sis, Yes you are!

Love to all,
Neeko

P.S. Today's Joke :o)
After she woke up, a woman told her husband, “I just dreamed you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s Day. What do you think it means?”
"You’ll know tonight,” he said.
That evening the husband came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it--to find a book entitled “The Meaning of Dreams.”

P.S. Today's joke:
~ A man and a boy have been sitting out on a lake all day long ice fishing. The man has been having no luck at all while the boy has been pulling fish after fish out of his hole in the ice. The man finally leans over and asks the kid what his secret is.
"mmmmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmm mmm," is the reply.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?"
"mmmmm mmm mm mmm mmmm mmm mmm," the kid repeats.
"I'm sorry, I still didn't understand you."
The boy spits something into his hand and says very clearly, "You've got to keep your worms warm!" ~
