In Hawaii on Valentine's Day with Ruthie ♥
I woke up with my Ruthie screaming: "Neeko! Neeko! Neeeeeeeeeko! Wake up, we are just about to hit the shoreline of Waikiki Beach..."
~ Wow Ruthie! You really have some powerful lungs... Wait a sec. I need some time to ease into my waking hours. Let's just enjoy the view quietly :o)
~ "But Neeko! I can see Diamond Head... Do you think we will find diamonds there?"
~ Naw! That is for the fitness craze folks who like to see the view from up there; we have my Magic blankie for that. I'll fly you around later!
~ "Wow Neeko! Waikiki Beach is pawsome and soooo warm here! Should we go for a swim in the ocean?"
~ Well, my sweet Ruthie, I have other plans. I think you will enjoy them better...
We are looking over Hanauma Bay in Oahu; notice the heart shaped picture ♥
Alright Ruthie, now I'm taking you snorkeling and because we can also be amphibians, we will not need all that snorkeling equipment Humans need...
~ "Wow! This is just pawsome, Neeko :o) One fish came really close to me.
I hate to spoil the fun, but I'm getting hungry with all these activities."
~ Not to worry! We have reservations for dinner at a very nice restaurant on Waikiki Beach!
The menu...
The view from the restaurant...
For starters, we ordered Mango Tropicolada...
As an Entree we ordered Kabobs and Ahi Tuna...
Our scrumptious desserts...
To conclude our pawsome day, we watched the sunset...
~ Ruthie, my love, thank you so much for going out with Meee and for an unforgettable time!
~ Ruthie: "Well, same here!"
After our dreamy date, I took my sweet Ruthie back home to her Mommy and thanked her again for allowing her precious daughter to go out with Meee :o)
We brought back for her these beautiful tropical flowers...
Wow! What a date!

I promised my sweet Ruthie that I will take her out on a date.
Well, I thought that Valentine's Day would be a pawfect time for the two of us to embark on a cruise :o)
Please note that I checked with her Mommy first if this date was alright with her.
So, I got on my Magic blankie and here I go...

Diamond Boy :o)
I would like to share with you my dear bloggie friends something that happened about 3 weeks ago...
My Daddy got home from work on a Thursday evening, and told my Mommy that a Kitty darted out of the postal truck into their distribution center.
Everybody tried catching the guy but he was FAST and scared.
That Thursday night they put up a trap cage with food and water for him but he did not go in there; ate the food from the outside (smart kitty). Nobody saw him during the day on Friday.
They rearranged the food for Friday night and on Saturday morning, my Mommy and Daddy went in the place to find him trapped. He hissed at my Pawrents and did not look happy at all.
They moved the cage into my Daddy's warm and comfy office and they gave him more food and water.
My Mommy called several places without luck until one place, a no kill shelter, said: “Yes, you can bring him/her to us!”
Mommy had tears of joy. Luckily the place is not that far from our house so my Pawrents took the poor lost soul there. He was very sweet and quiet in the car.
The VERY nice people there took him in their loving care.
The Lady that runs the place thinks that he is a fairly young Boy.
Here is a picture of him before they took him there:
O.K. Now before I tell you this, please make sure you are sitting down or have a comfy couch to fall on..............
Ready???
They take care of 200 Kitties! Yes, 200!
My Mommy said that they all looked so happy and content and the place was so neat and clean.
They all have names and they are all so friendly.
Here are some pictures my Mommy took:
This was just from one small section of the Kitty house; they also have a room full of Kitties with Leukemia... :o(
So Diamond Boy (she named him Diamond after the name of Daddy's distribution center), will be very happy there until he finds his forever home :o)
My Mommy goes there once a week with goodies for them and visits with Diamond Boy. The wonderful people tell her that he is a very sweet boy but still kind of shy.
On top of the Kitty house, they also have the doggie houses.
The name of the rescue place is:
Society Of St. Francis in Kenosha, WI
Every time my Mommy comes home from visiting there, she hugs and loves us even more than usual and I can tell that she is praying that they all find wonderful and loving forever homes.
She says that everything happens for a very good reason in our lives and this proves it once again!
Because of Diamond Boy, she found out about this loving and caring place and she will do her best to help out as much as she can.
These are the people that God puts on this Earth to be called True Angels.
Pawsome thanks for reading this post ♥

Snowed in...
Well, Well, Well!
We got hit with 20 inches of snow and everything was shot down. It worked out great for Meee because both my pawrents were home with us :o)
P.S. Today's joke:
~ A three-year-old boy went with his dad to see a new litter of Labrador puppies. On returning home, he breathlessly informed his mother:
"There were three boy Labrador puppies and four girl Labrador puppies."
"How did you know that?" his mother asked.
"Daddy picked them up and looked underneath," he replied.
"I think it is printed on their bottoms. ~
