Diamond Boy :o)

I would like to share with you my dear bloggie friends something that happened about 3 weeks ago...

My Daddy got home from work on a Thursday evening, and told my Mommy that a Kitty darted out of the postal truck into their distribution center.
Everybody tried catching the guy but he was FAST and scared.
That Thursday night they put up a trap cage with food and water for him but he did not go in there; ate the food from the outside (smart kitty). Nobody saw him during the day on Friday.
They rearranged the food for Friday night and on Saturday morning, my Mommy and Daddy went in the place to find him trapped. He hissed at my Pawrents and did not look happy at all.
They moved the cage into my Daddy's warm and comfy office and they gave him more food and water.

My Mommy called several places without luck until one place, a no kill shelter, said: “Yes, you can bring him/her to us!”
Mommy had tears of joy. Luckily the place is not that far from our house so my Pawrents took the poor lost soul there. He was very sweet and quiet in the car.
The VERY nice people there took him in their loving care.
The Lady that runs the place thinks that he is a fairly young Boy.
Here is a picture of him before they took him there:

O.K. Now before I tell you this, please make sure you are sitting down or have a comfy couch to fall on..............

Ready???

They take care of 200 Kitties! Yes, 200!

My Mommy said that they all looked so happy and content and the place was so neat and clean.
They all have names and they are all so friendly.
Here are some pictures my Mommy took:

This was just from one small section of the Kitty house; they also have a room full of Kitties with Leukemia... :o(

So Diamond Boy (she named him Diamond after the name of Daddy's distribution center), will be very happy there until he finds his forever home :o)
My Mommy goes there once a week with goodies for them and visits with Diamond Boy. The wonderful people tell her that he is a very sweet boy but still kind of shy.

On top of the Kitty house, they also have the doggie houses.
The name of the rescue place is:
Society Of St. Francis in Kenosha, WI

Every time my Mommy comes home from visiting there, she hugs and loves us even more than usual and I can tell that she is praying that they all find wonderful and loving forever homes.
She says that everything happens for a very good reason in our lives and this proves it once again!
Because of Diamond  Boy, she found out about this loving and caring place and she will do her best to help out as much as she can.
These are the people that God puts on this Earth to be called True Angels.

Pawsome thanks for reading this post ♥

Praying that all poor homeless souls, find shelter and food soon and stay out of the bitter cold temps.

Gosh, I never get tired of this story! I am so happy that dear Diamond Boy is safe and sound, especially since it is supposed to be so cold the next few days.

Thanks so much for your message today. It is still just a dream, but hopefully some day. Maybe we can talk about it soon.

P.S: Did you really see a coyote?

Gosh, Neeko! That is one of the bestest stories I ever heard! Aren't you just so very thankful that there are angels out there walking around on earth taking care of lost doggies and kittehs? I know I am. I had my very own angel looking out for me, you know.

My paws are crossed that Diamond Boy finds his forever home real soon.

Cutie Neeko, Society of St. Francis sounds like the most wonderful place ever! We like how the cats are roaming free instead of crammed into cages. We think it's very important to support shelters like this, so we love that you and your Mommy did this post to give them more recognition. It's even more special that they take in the cats who have Feline Leukemia - many places can't. We're sending our purrs to you and your Mommy and Daddy for being good folks :)
