Neeko and his family LOVES Josie's Mommy ♥♥♥

Glitter Photos

Hello to all my bloggie friends :o)

Let's all join forces by holding our paws together in support of Josie, Izzy and Anakin's Mommy.
She got cowardly attacked by a "commenter" the other day...

The fable of The Fox and the Grapes comes to mind:
''Driven by hunger, a fox tried to reach some grapes hanging high on the vine but was unable to, although she leaped with all her strength. As she went away, the fox remarked, 'Oh, you aren't even ripe yet! I don't need any sour grapes.' "

People who speak disparagingly of things that they cannot attain would do well to apply this story to themselves!

I do not like rainy days...

I do not know about you guys, but I reaaaally dislike rainy mornings...
Can you see me???

Wait...
How about now?
Pleaaaase, do not make me go out in the rain...
Ugh! Why can't I just use the bathroom in the house like civilized people???

I did have some fun times this week though visiting with my Girlfriends, Zoe & Anastasia.
One evening, my siblings decided to tag along...
Check us out; we LOVE the Girls ♥♥♥

Well, that is all for now!

Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:
~ A young businessman had just started his own firm. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques. Sitting there, he saw a man come into the outer office. Wishing to appear the hot shot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments. Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"
The man said, "Yeah, I've come to activate your phone lines." ~

Anniversary weekend and much more... :o)

Happy 15th Anniversary to my parents and my Sis ♥

If you remember from my previous post, I talked about my parents meeting for the 1st time on September 10th, 15 years ago and on their 1 year anniversary, my Daddy surprised my Mommy with my Sis.
They met in Evanston by the pond you will see below...
My Mommy was reading a good book with her four-legged sister, Chupy and my Daddy was walking by with his four-legged brother, Teddy :o)
The story goes something like this:
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and Mommy heard this silent voice that told her to pick up her Sis and go to Evanston by this pond that she's never been before.
It was around 3pm when she was reading her book and everything became silent.
The sun rays were shining on the water's surface and they looked like thousands of diamonds when Daddy stopped by with his Bro and my Mommy's Sis fell for Teddy immediately and the rest is history!

My Bro singing Happy Anniversary to them ♫♫♫

We started celebrating with our favorite TCBY yogurt

My Sis had one too many glasses of champagne...
and had to take a nap before going to Evanston :o)))

Our day became even more fun when we heard word that our bloggie friend Miss Sugar and her Mommy were going to meet up with us.
So we got into the car and headed to the magic place...

I think I see Miss Sugar....

and she brought us all natural yummy treats :o)
Wow! Thank you sooo very much Miss Sugar
Please, check out her website to learn more about the delicious goodies she has @ Sugar's Paw House

Miss Sugar is making sure that the ducks are not coming over to steal our yummy treats...
Here she is with my Daddy, still watching for the ducks
She is such a beautiful Girl and still very focused on the intruders
My Bro was telling my Daddy that it is getting dark and we should hit the road...
We thanked again Miss Sugar and her Mommy for coming out on such short notice and made plans to see each other again soon :o)

I have to go now but please check in with me later as I have more happenings to tell you about!

Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:
~ A rookie police officer was assigned to ride in a cruiser with an experienced partner.
A call came over the car's radio telling them to disperse some people who were loitering. The officers drove to the street and observed a small crowd standing on a corner.
The rookie rolled down his window and said: "Let's get off the corner."
No one moved, so he yelled: "Let's get off the corner NOW!"
Intimidated, the group of people began to leave, casting puzzled glances in his direction.
Proud of his first official act, the young policeman turned to his partner and asked:
"Well, how did I do?"
"Pretty good," replied the veteran, "especially since this is a bus stop." ~

Just to say "Hello!"

This is what my Bro looks like when he is not angry... waiting for a smooch from my Mommy :o)
He does not know that I posted this picture of him because he likes people to think that he is a Macho guy ;o)

ET go home...
The Bumblebee boy...
I better stop now because he will really be mad.

Tomorrow is my Sis' anniversary. She is the anniversary Girl because my Daddy surprised my Mommy with her as a 1 year anniversary gift from the day they met 15 years ago.

Baby Chi-Chi with my Mommy (the day that she fell in love  with my Sis)

I'll tell you more another time!
Have to go to bed now...
Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:

~ A speaker was scheduled to address an audience at a university. A couple of hours before she was to take the podium, some student pranksters took all of the folding chairs, loaded them into their vehicles, and drove away. No one was aware of the problem until the audience began arriving for the lecture. There wasn't enough time to find more chairs, so everyone had to stand while she spoke.
That evening, she decided to call her mother to let her know how the speech went. “It was a huge success" she said. “Hours before I arrived, every seat in the house was taken, and I was given a standing ovation throughout my speech.” ~

Fun Labor Day weekend and a new baby boyfriend :o)

Meditating about the Labor Day weekend...
I started out by teasing my Bro...

He always gets so wound up so quickly... but I always get my way with him :o)

Here is my Sis infatuated with my Daddy, after he gave her goodies...

On Sunday, we went to Lake Michigan in Evanston by Northwestern University, where they have a nice lagoon that we like to walk around... My Sis did not ask to be put in her stroller the whole time.
O.K. one more because my siblings were not paying attention

Here we are by the Lake; check me out how daring I am...
I asked my parents if I could go for a swim and they said NO! Bummer...

At least I talked my Daddy into getting closer to the water

Meanwhile, my siblings stayed very cautious. My Sis was telling my Bro that she was worried about the baby (me) falling in the water

My Mommy kept saying that she did not like the looks of the sky...

This was the last picture when we felt the rain drops.
We made it back to the car just in time!

We decided to go visit with my Nana and Danny G. and to our surprise, she had visitors.
Emma, Danny G.'s girlfriend was there with her Mommy and her brand new baby brother named Frankie :o) What a peanut!
Check it out:

I'm a Giant next to the peanut :o)))

In case you were wondering how many four-legged munchkins were at my Nana's house... six!
As always I'm on my best behaviour while Danny G. is bouncing up and down like a tennis ball. My Mommy says that unfortunately he does not have an "off" button ;o)

Well, that is all for know because my Mommy is after me to get off of the computer.
Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:

~ A preacher visits an elderly woman from his congregation. As he sits on the couch he notices a large bowl of peanuts on the coffee table. "Mind if I have a few?" he asks.
"No, not at all!" the woman replied.
They chat for an hour and as the preacher stands to leave, he realizes that instead of eating
just a few peanuts, he emptied most of the bowl.
"I'm terribly sorry for eating all your peanuts, I really just meant to eat a few."
"Oh, that's all right," the woman says. "Ever since I lost my teeth all I can do is lick the chocolate off them." ~

Tuesday evening concert :o)

So my Daddy was asking my Mommy on Tuesday morning if she was interested in going to the Glen in Glenview to listen to the band that was going to play that evening.

I immediately cleared my schedule and told them both that I was available :o)
My Bro was kind of lukewarm about it and my Sis said that she was only game if the Dairy Bar was going to be involved afterwards.
My Mommy said that she will think about it.
Think about it???... come on! It may be the last summer concert we will see and she has to “think about it”.
So throughout the day, I was sending her positive vibes about the concert and when they both got home from work, she agreed to go. Yay!!! Good Mommy! Here is a treat for you! Uh, oh, sorry... Sis ate it... ;o)

As soon as we got there we were surrounded by children.

My Bro was really enjoying all the attention :o)
My Sis did not want to miss the action...
And the children kept multiplying...
My Bro was just sponging it up...

As promised, we did go to the Dairy Bar and had our usual vanilla ice cream. Sorry no pictures because the battery conked out on us...
Well, that was a great outing :o)

Wednesday morning, we had an exciting visit from..... Tuffy!!!! my Girlfriend ♥
We were all out back after breakfast when we saw her and I stared screaming: Tuffy, Tuffy come on over...
She dragged her Mommy as hard as she could and they made it over to us.
We were all sooo happy to see each other. My Sis was running circles around her and invited her in the house.
Unfortunately, our Mommies had to go to work so it was a short visit :o(
Humans! Always spoiling the fun...

I have to go now because it's time for bed and I still have to floss.

Later,
Neeko :o)
P.S. Today's joke:
~ A computer technician was called to a small business to repair a computer. He wasn't able to find a close parking spot, so he left his car in a NO PARKING zone and placed a note on his windshield saying: “James Bauer, computer technician, working inside the building.”
He completed his work within thirty minutes and returned to his car to find a ticket with a note that read: “Peter Westin, police officer, working outside the building.” ~
